Hacker Pembobol Twitter Presiden Barrack Obama

Setelah kerja keras berbulan-bulan, FBI dengan dipandu Polisi Prancis berhasil menangkap seorang peretas yang menyabotase akun Twitter Presiden Amerika Serikat Barack Obama.

Pengangguran berusia 25 tahun, yang menggunakan nama samaran "Hacker Croll", ditahan di wilayah Puy-de-Dome, Prancis, setelah sebuah operasi yang dilakukan bersama dengan agen-agen FBI dari Amerika, yang berlangsung selama beberapa bulan. Kini, dia berada di tahanan polisi di dekat kota Clermont-Ferrand.

Sang peretas selain menyerang micro-blogging yang sedang populer ini, juga telah menyerang Facebook dan akun email Google dan penyedia layanan lainnya. Polisi mengatakan bahwa pelaku tidak pernah berusaha untuk mendapatkan keuntungan finansial dari kegiatan hacking-nya.

Dia berhasil mengatur untuk keamanan kode administrator Twitter dan mampu membuat, mengubah atau menghapus akun. Dari sumber yang tak disebutkan menambahkan bahwa para peretas ini membuat blog untuk berbagi penemuannya.

Empat agen FBI bekerja sama dengan polisi Prancis selama beberapa bulan untuk melacak "Hacker Croll" dan menghentikan serangan di Twitter. Pelaku yang bernama "Francois " mengaku bukanlah hacker, Ia hanya berniat baik mencari kelemahan dari keamanan sebuah jaringan internet.

"Saya melakukan ini hanya karena ingin memperingati mereka, menunjukkan betapa sistem mereka sangat rentan. Saya tidak melakukannya untuk tujuan merusak," ujar remaja berusia 23 tahun yang bernama Francois C, seperti dikutip melalui AFP, Jumat (26/3/2010).

"Saya bukanlah seorang hacker. Saya hanya mirip seperti seorang perompak," ujar Francois.

Ini bukanlah kali pertama Hacker Croll melakukan aksinya. Sebelumnya, pada bulan July lalu, TechCrunch mengaku mendapatkan kiriman 310 data rahasia Twitter dan dokumen milik karyawan dari 'Hacker Croll'. Dokumen tersebut berisi jadwal meeting, kesepakatan kerja sama, project keuangan, kalender, nomor telepon penting, rencana perusahaan, dan informasi lainnya.

Kala itu, pendiri Twitter, Evan Williams menyatakan bahwa dokumen tersebut telah usang dan hacker yang membobol dipastikan tidak sampai mengutak-atik akun pribadi pengguna Twitter.

Pengacara Hacker Croll Jean-Yves Coquillat mengatakan, Francois bukanlah hacker dalam artian yang sebenarnya. Dia hanya orang yang kebetulan masuk ke 'rumah' seseorang yang 'pintu' nya dibiarkan terbuka.

Daylight savings time officially struck at 2:00 AM this morning and all clocks should have been set forward by an hour before going to bed.

Ironically enough, some clocks, for example those on computers will automatically jump ahead an hour, so there is no need to change the time.

With daylight savings time, as you might guess, comes an extra hour of daylight, meaning that it will be getting brighter earlier in the morning, and darker later at night.

This is a good time of year to change the batteries in your smoke detector to make sure that they are in working order.

Changing the batteries in smoke alarms can be one of those little chores that we procrastinate doing, but in case of fire it is these little devices that often are the first warning we hear of danger.

Amy Victoria Beck Arrested for Having Sex With Student

Facebook-hot A 33-year Burbank middle school teacher accused of having sex with teenage male students over a period of six months last year accused of violating the law on Tuesday for sex with minors, MyFoxLA.com reported.

Amy Victoria Beck, a teacher at David Starr Jordan Middle School, appeared in Burbank Superior Court Wednesday. He did not enter pleas and the indictment is scheduled for March 25.

David Starr Jordan High School teacher Amy Victoria Beck is scheduled to be dragged in Burbank Superior Court on four counts today is not valid and one count of oral copulation sex with someone under the age of 16 years.

According to reports, Beck went to the Burbank police station Monday night told the officer he "had a sexual relationship with one of her students."
